1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Relational Nodes ("the Service"), operated by Two E Ideas Pty Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Relational Nodes is a web-based interactive graph visualisation tool that allows users to create projects, build node-and-link graphs, and collaborate with others in real time. The Service supports multiple project categories including Decomposition Maps and System Architecture diagrams.

3. User Accounts & Security

To use the Service, you must create an account using a valid email address and password, or sign in via Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised use of your account.

4. User Content & Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you create within the Service, including projects, nodes, links, data sources, and associated metadata. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to host, store, display, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service.

You are solely responsible for the content you create and share. You must not upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or violates the rights of others.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or any related systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service without permission
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or any other harmful content
• Abuse the collaboration features to harass or spam other users

6. Collaboration & Sharing

The Service allows you to invite other users to collaborate on your projects with specific roles (owner, editor, viewer). When you share a project, collaborators can view and — depending on their role — edit the project content.

You are responsible for managing access to your projects. We are not liable for any actions taken by collaborators you have invited.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, interface, branding, code, and documentation, is owned by Two E Ideas Pty Ltd and is protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or branding without prior written consent.

Your content remains yours. Our intellectual property remains ours.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may delete your account data within a reasonable timeframe after termination, except where retention is required by law.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Two E Ideas Pty Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
